I was pleasantly surprised by how many people came out to the booksigning at Saratoga Coffee last night. There were approximately 20 people who attended, including many young adults from Beth Am Congregation. Unfortunately, my camera died before I could get shots of the audience.

I will be selling my book, The Jewish Community of Baltimore, at the Baltimore Book Festival on Friday, September 26 from 5 – 9pm. Stop by!
This is an illustration I did for the Jack and Jill scene of Fluid Movement’s 2008 water ballet.

My booksigning was a big success. About 35 – 40 people attended! Great questions were asked, and I signed quite a number of books. I enjoyed it all immensely. Here are some photos from the event.

I can’t find it online to link to, but I had the pleasure of being on the local NBC affiliate, channel 11, this morning to promote The Jewish Community of Baltimore. While I woke up a big bundle of nerves, I have to say that it ended up being a really enjoyable experience. Jennifer Franciotti was incredibly kind and put me at ease right away. Unfortunately, my vcr didn’t record it, but hopefully someone else’s did.

The first review of my book, The Jewish Community of Baltimore, came out today in the Baltimore Jewish Times! Click here to read it.
This is the second drawing I did at the Body Worlds exhibit of the yoga woman.

Here is a schedule of places where I will be featured for JCB:
* Baltimore Jewish Times – expected this week
* Baltimore Examiner – not sure yet but will find out on Wednesday
*WBAL/Channel 11 – 9:30am – Sunday, July 27
I’ll update as I find out more.
