Last month, I gave a presentation at the annual meeting for the American Association of Museums in Philadelphia to a crowded room as part of the Small Museums Day. Researching The Jewish Community of Baltimore

I researched primarily at The Jewish Museum of Maryland and the Enoch Pratt Free Library as well as at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation. Thank goodness for online databases that allowed me to travel other museums’ archives without having to physically leave. I love actually touching the old photographs but getting to places like the American Jewish Historical Society just weren’t possible.
