I researched primarily at The Jewish Museum of Maryland and the Enoch Pratt Free Library as well as at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation. Thank goodness for online databases that allowed me to travel other museums’ archives without having to physically leave. I love actually touching the old photographs but getting to places like the American Jewish Historical Society just weren’t possible.
This is a curricular unit I created about early Jewish Marylanders.

I adapted and updated the activity book developed for the Golden Land: A Jewish Family Learning Place.
This is a lesson plan I developed about Jewish immigrants coming to Baltimore at the turn of the 20th century.
This is a scavenger I developed for the exhibition, Voices of Lombard Street: A Century of Change in East Baltimore.
I recently gave a talk at both the Small Museum Association conference and a meeting with the Greater Baltimore History Alliance on graphic design lingo for museum professionals. Enclosed are both my notes and my powerpoint presentation (in pdf form).
