About L. Silberman Works
Lauren Silberman is a product of George Washington University, where
she majored in painting and art history, graduating magna cum laude,
and Maryland Institute College of Art, studying graphic design. She has
also studied in Florence, Italy. She has been involved with graphic
design for over four years, developing items for several non-profits, and corporations.

Besides graphic design, she has also worked with several museums,
including the Phillips Collection in D.C. and the Jewish Museum of
Maryland, as well as having interned with two Smithsonian museums:
the Freer and Sackler Galleries of Asian Art and the Hirshhorn Museum
and Sculpture Garden. In her free time, she dances with Blue Orchid
Bellydance, teaches at Beth Am Synagogue, and serves as a tour
guide with the original Fell’s Point Ghost Walk. She recently authored the book, The Jewish Community of Baltimore, which will be published by Arcadia in Spring 2008.
